Welcome to the World Wide Archaeology, the commission for all professional archaeologists all over the world!

 

What are the Aims of the WWA?
In March 2011 the World Wide Archaeology (WWA) Founded by Mrs.Eman H.Zidan. The stipulate that the

 

WWA was created:
• to promote the development of archaeological research and the exchange of archaeological information
• to promote the management and interpretation of the World wide archaeological heritage
• to promote proper ethical and scientific standards for archaeological work
• to promote the interests of professional archaeologists in all over the world
• to promote co-operation with other organisations with similar aims

Activities of the WWA
The Commission organises Lectures and seminars and acts as an advisory on all issues relating to the archaeology. WWA offer a unique opportunity for archaeologists from all over the world and beyond to exchange ideas and opinions on archaeological practice and theory following the aim to contribute to a continuing discussion concerning the numerous identities and contexts of archaeology.

Educational episodes launched on our You tube Channel created by WWA Media Team, we engage students of archaeology,archaeologists,conservators through dynamic curricular resources and support archaeologists who offered to represent it through customized professional development and assessment services all leading to improve our knowledge of the latest information and technology.
Increase public awareness of the value and importance of archaeology .

 

Objectives:
Hold events such as “ Archaeology Week” and “Monuments Preservation work shop” to increase the visibility of historic preservation. Encourage interpretation of archaeological and historic sites to educate the public. Support the development of elementary, secondary, and post-secondary programs that teach about our heritage and historic resources. Improve awareness of and access to historic preservation information. Encourage accuracy of information about local historic places and archaeological sites.
