Cairo Hackerspace is an open source community lab/workspace where engineers, designers,artists meet.
Is a space where people with common interests, often in computers, electronics, robotics, science or arts can meet, socialize and collaborate. Cairo Hackerspace can be viewed as open community labs incorporating elements of machine, workshops where hackers or makers can come together to share resources and knowledge to build and make things.
Cairo Hackerspace is a place where everyone in Egypt can share his projects , learn , collect a team for his project
Cairo hackerspace function as centers for peer learning and knowledge sharing, in the form of workshops, presentations, and lectures. Also offer social activities for their members, such as game nights and parties. Typically provide space for members to work on their individual projects, or to collaborate on group projects with other members.
The building or facility Cairo hackerspace occupies is important, because it provides physical infrastructure that members need to complete their projects. In addition to space, Cairo hackerspace provide networking with Internet connectivity. Cairo hackerspace provide machine tools ( Makerbot 3D ABS printer), electronic instrumentation, electronic components and raw materials for hacking, and various other tools for electronics fabrication and building things
