Alwan Foundation is non-profit, cultural and artistic organization .It was established in 2012.
It seeks to create change in our community through art which spreads a culture of equality, justice, acceptance and non-violence.
These values constitute the essential foundations for the establishment of an inclusive, open society. Alwan also aims to stimulate and support artistic and cultural movement in Egypt and the creation of an independent and diverse space for young people to express themselves.
To reach those goals, the Alwan Foundation established a variety of successful projects: Such as the Alwan Summer Festival, the Alwan Festival in Universities, the Alwan Annual Cultural Camps and various one-day workshops on topics such as environmental friendly arts and origami.
