This international conference is the fifth meeting of the research project SAHWA (awakening), which is financed by the European Union and brings together 14 partners from Europe and the Arab world. The conference’s purpose is to present the project’s comparative findings based on interviews and survey data to decode how youth think and function. The analysis focuses on six major topics:

•    Youth opportunities 
•    Youth engagement
•    Gender differences and impact
•    Employment
•    Migration and mobility 

•Public Policies and International Cooperation
