Origamic Architecture was developed and first gained popularity in Japan, today it is practiced in countries all over the world. Many designers use folding techniques in their work to make three-dimensional forms from two-dimensional sheets of fabric, cardboard, plastic, metal, and many other materials.
In this series of workshops the instructor will explain the key techniques of folding.

Nervan Talha

Graduated from Science Ain Shams, Pure Math and Computer Science department. Worked as a 2D Flash Animator 2007 – 2009.
At the end of 2009 she went for a one year internship in India with the famous TCS (Tata Consulting Services).


In the year 2011, right after the revolution she took her passion for Origami to another level. Started with giving workshops for the young ones, while she was developing her folding skills and moving from one level of difficulty to another one.
Finally, at the end of 2012 ‘Waraqat’ came to shine her world.

Workshop fees: 75 LE

Workshop duration: Three hours.

Materials needed

- Papers will be provided by the instructor.
- Pencil, ruler, cutter and a cutting-mat each participant will get his own kit.

The workshop is open to all with a cap of 5 to 10 participants on a first come first served basis.
