Background

When applying for a grant to establish or to expand a social enterprise, the conflict begins of how to start and how to balance a for-profit business model with social cause and how to measure impact. Entrepreneurs often focus on areas they are good at and lose perspective on the holistic effort including development and financial sustainability. The world of social entrepreneurship is evolving quickly, but it belongs to ambitious individuals with innovative solutions to societal problems. Social entrepreneurs have to solve both business and development impact problems at the same time.

- This is a foundation level 12-hours training course. It can be delivered by four 3-hours sessions or by two days
