In this visually rich Exhibit: Heterotopias and Civil Society in Architectural Design, we showcase the built environment in a series of photographs and maps representing Alexandria, Baharia, Cairo, Dakhla, Nubia and Siwa. These images demonstrate how architecture serves as a reflection and expression of society and the human spirit, and reciprocally, constitutes and influences who we are and our understanding of reality.
