The Operette "El Leila el Kebera" is the most famous show in the Egyptian Puppet Theater repertoire. It describes the festivities of the " Mooled " in a very amusing and authentic way through its characters: (The Clown – The Chickpeas Vendor – the Fortune Teller - the Coffee Shop Owner - Chief of the Clan - the Mayor - the Belly Dancer – the Lion Trainer - Children - The Photographer - The Circus Announcer – The Chanting man - The Peasant).
This lyrics of this wonderful historic puppet show was written by Salah Jaheen and its melody composed by Sayed Mekawi. It is one of the most unforgettable works of art written for the Egyptian Puppet Theater.

The “Fabrica” Music Theater Company will present a modern and original version performed by real live performers, and not puppets as is the traditional way it has always been conducted, an element that we hope will attract audiences and entertain them.

This performance stars: Nesma Mahgoub, Ali ElAlfy, Sarah Abou Elyazeid, Dina El Zalaky, Sherif Bichara, Radwa Etman, Ahmed Selim, Emad Rashad, Kirolous Moheb, hana Ghoneim, Yousef Andraous, Nouran Khalil, and Salma Mahgoub. They will be accompanied by an oriental “Takht`’ head by the Oud player Alaa Saber.
This performance presents the artistic vision of its director Mohamed Abou El Kheir.

" Fabrica “ is the first Egyptian Music Theater Company that is committed to presenting musical theater productions translated into the Egyptian colloquial language alongside authentic Egyptian acts. It was founded in 2011 by Opera singer Dr. Neveen Allouba, together with Opera singer Dr. Raouf Zaidan and Opera Director Mohamed Abou El Kheir.

We will be waiting for you all at the “El Sawy Culture Wheel” on November 1st at 8pm at the River Hall.
