Join us for a night of fun experimentation at Eish & Malh. Come experience an array of shorts, silent films and more contemporary works, alongside a four course dinner tailor-made for the occasion. Dinner at the Movies is an event programmed by Cimatheque - Alternative Film Centre.

This time the event will explore themes of fantasy and dream-like imagery in motion pictures, including animated works, silent comedies, and even advertisements and newsreels from Egypt and beyond. Some of the films featured include Buster Keaton's The Playhouse (1921), Emile Cohl's Fantasmagorie (1908), and more contemporary works by young filmmakers from the region.

Important note:
The dinner will be set-up to reflect the communal experience of both dining and being at the movies. Seating will be open at 6:30 P.M., and the event will be organized on a first-come, first-seated basis, so please be sure to show up on time!
