Anna Maria Suykerbuyk is back from Europe and ready to give you a new Contemporary Dance workshop for beginners! 

In this contemporary dance workshop, we will go through some of the basics of Contemporary Dance. Through a series of technical exercises and choreographic sequences, we will learn some of the fundamentals as well as expand our own physical and creative limitations. This workshop will leave you with an impression of Contemporary Dance and what dance can mean for you. Keywords of this workshop are physicality, expansion, sweat and fun!

Full workshop (6 days, 12 hours): 850 EGP

Anna Maria Suykerbuyk is a Dutch dancer and choreographer working in dance since 2007. 
From the personal belief that freedom of expression relies on spontaneity and sincerity in intention, she creates multidisciplinary work and provides theatrical experiences through her art performance company Sine Forma. This belief lies at the base of both her work as a choreographer as well as a teacher. Anna has been coming to Cairo since the end of 2014, where she loves to produce events (Battle of the Elements), creates work (Since I am, definitely you are, +/-, Ignorance is Bliss) and teaches dance and movement at the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center.
