Stay fit during Ramadan with our Barre workshop with Mona El Husseini - the perfect combination of dance and workout!
"Barre classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates.
The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements."
The workout starts off with a quick warm up then moves on to upper body exercises, followed by lower body exercises by the barre, and finally mats are used for targeted core work.

Sunday 4th, Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th, from 04:00pm to 05:00pm
(there will be a second workshop from June 12th to 15th)

Mona El-Husseini is currently studying Contemporary Dance at the full-time 3-year professional training program at the Cairo Contemporary Dance Center. Additionally, she teaches Kids' Yoga and has a background in Classical Ballet. She completed her Barre certification from the IBBFA (International Ballet Barre Fitness Association) and is eager to share with you all the transformations that Barre brings!
