For the first time, Zawya is happy to collaborate with an artist from a different background, artist/musician Abdullah Miniawy. Combining images and sound, the two fields -Cinema and Music- find a meeting point resulting in an audiovisual experience that will take you to another dimension.

ATTEMPTS OF THE MIDDLE.. A RIOT, A FALL, A SHRINE

The project consists of a corpus of realistic and philosophical texts but also other records.
Artist Abdullah Al Miniawy experiences a leap of faith from the eighth floor to return once again to participate in the musical scene with a product that is simply different -as he quotes. A vigilant variation of minimal compositions combining the different elements of Jazz, Hip Hop, and the art of slamming and chants.

The entirety of the act is musically and lyrically composed by Abdullah Al Miniawy.

Miniawy is a poet, chanter and composer from Fayoum who wandered and toured extensively Egypt’s various theaters on top of many others abroad. Distinctive compositions for films and contemporary dance performances add up to his repertoire.
