Mission Statement
baladilab is a team of architects based in Cairo initiating projects to discover and activate the hidden potentialities of Egyptian cities.
The main idea is to launch workshops, conferences, design activities linking users, professional and students with the built environment.
baladilab was founded in 2011 by Vittoria Capresi and Barbara Pampe, as a spin-off project associated to the German University in Cairo, Architecture and urban Design Program.
The last activities addressed the following main fields
* Heritage awareness / talk about the city
* Design build studio / discover the city
